I’ve never met someone from Minnesota who wasn’t a whole, strong person, who also happens to be friendly and nice. I can’t thank everyone, EVERY SINGLE ONE of you for what you’re doing. When ICE was in Evanston, I got in my car on Halloween and drove four blocks from my house to find six cars kidnapping an elderly landscape worker. I whistled and honked and was approached and intimidated by Greg Bovino and other agents and I now realize what danger I was actually in. But I would do it again and again and promise to not stop using my own privilege to show up however I can to support our neighbors and communities and Minnesota is showing us how. Thank you.
