Dear Amazing Humans of Minneapolis

“Dear Amazing Humans of Minneapolis, thank you so much for all that you are enduring, surviving, fighting, and visioning in this moment. It is not just and it is not fair, but you are standing in your power with a courage and collective care that models for the rest of us what it means to be in community. You have done this before — catalyzed a nation to notice, to acknowledge, to grieve, and to act for more humane ways of being. You have done this before, and you are doing it again now. From far away we watch you and it helps us to ask ourselves hard questions about what we will do, when ICE comes to our communities. It helps us to find the place where courage lies within our own hearts. It helps us to remember that there is more good will and care in the world than there is violence and power-hungry abuse. This should not be happening. It is not fair, and it is not just. But we are so grateful that you are modeling what LOVE means for the rest of us. With hugs & tears, a family from Boston”
